Our church retreat was really blessed. Thank you to those of you who prayed for us.26 of us from the church went about an hour from Eger from Friday to Sunday (Feb 2-4) for a weekend of hiking, worshiping the Lord, and studying the Word.
Our prayer for the weekend
was that this even would be something which would bring the church closer to each other and to the Lord, both of which I believe happened.We are praising God for the great work He is doing in the hearts of all the Jani's in our church (we have 3)!
Sunday evening, one Jani told me - "I really feel that I got closer to God this weekend!"
Praise the Lord for that! This is the Jani who is Kati's brother; we'd been praying for him for over a year, and he just got saved in December, and we've seen a radical change in his life.We are also praising God for the changes He has brought about in the lives of the other two Jani's - forming them into true spiritual leaders, first in their relationships and slowly in the church as well.
Praise God for what He is doing among us, and lets pray that God would continue to work in a mighty way in Eger!
